Rainy Australia Day, what a perfect excuse to show Jack this cute, rustic and oh so ah la French cafe. For those of you who love stumbling across tiny, hidden cafe’s in the back streets of Paris or Florence – you will love La Banette. One of Mosman’s newest cafes’ & bakery this little gem offers a variety of sourdough breads, baguette, pastries, cakes and macaroons – all made daily on site. With only a hand full of long rickety timber planks to sit on, La Banette is an ideal place to escape for coffee and macaroon by yourself or with a friend.
Cappuccinos were great (with lots of coco on the top) followed by a citrus tart which was so yum! Looking forward to trying out the French Almond Tuile on my next visit!
